After our success with our last Boy On a Dolphin event we have decided to book them again! And, boy, are be glad we did!

The night was just as much a success as our last boy on a dolphin gig with our usual raffle, guess the name of the hoover cover (you had to be there!) and quality beer supplied by Crookes Working Mens Club, who not only let us use their function room for free, but donated money to help towards our cost as well! Thanks guys!

We also had some music too. Courtesy of Boy on a Dolphin. As usual they were amazing! Especially considering our slight technical hitch ... a fuse blew during their first song and Boy on a Dolphin were immediately transformed into Accoutsic Angels!! Being the professionals that they are, this did not phase the band at all and when power was restored two minutes later they struck up exactly where they left off and continued to give an outstanding performance!

The amount raised so far is £2,500 ... we haven't counted it all yet, and this total does not include the tax return we will get from gift aid, thanks to everyone who filled in their details!

Thanks go to Boy on a Dolphin for agreeing to do the gig and to Dave Deakin and all the staff at crookes social club for letting us have the venue!
