Lottery Funding Approved

We are pleased to announce that our application for funding from the Big Lottery Fund has been successful!

This ensures that the Meadowhall Supported Employment Project now has enough funding to continue for the next three years.  The extra funding will also help us to continue to expand, providing employment provision for more young adults with ASD's, not only in Meadowhall but in Sheffield city centre as well.

This groundbreaking project has helped local young people with autism to gain not only employment in Meadowhall Centre but important communication and life skills that have had a profound impact on their lives.  It has proved to be a huge success, and the results and feedback have been extremely positive from all involved.

We have a growing number of young adults with ASD who are employed at Meadowhall (and now Sheffield city centre) and are supported by a team lead by the Project Manager, Glynis Wood.

We are extremely grateful for the generous donations that we have received over the past few months.  Without these we would have had to close the project due to lack of funding before we knew the result of our lottery bid.  Thank you.
